Jaci Zalesak joins United Way as new Executive Director

A new face is taking over at the United Way of Lethbridge and South Western Alberta. Jaci Zalesak is now the Executive Director of the organization. She replaces Janelle Marietta, who is pursuing her PHD at the University of Lethbridge. Zalesak is a former chair of the Board of Directors for the United Way of Lethbridge. She says she has big plans for the organization moving forward including the expansion of their Community Fund.

“A lot of our focus is on poverty reduction and post-covid support and making sure that we have healthy communities. We cover all of South Western Alberta and our goal is to support many of the organizations throughout the region here.”

Zalesak says she started her position with the United Way of Lethbridge just over a month ago.
