Indigenous art to be on display for new ‘Oki’ partnership

Oki. It means hello or welcome in the traditional Blackfoot language. Lethbridge is celebrating Truth and Reconciliation Week. New signs for the city’s official Blackfoot greeting were displayed on Wednesday morning at Park Place Mall to showcase Indigenous artists. As Video Journalist Micah Quinn explains, these new pieces will be shown off at various places throughout the city.
