Hurricanes opening 25/26 season with new-look roster

The Lethbridge Hurricanes open their season at home on Friday with a revamped roster and a fresh new look.

New Head Coach Matt Anholt looks to lead a number of new and young talent beginning their careers in the WHL for the first time. Recently appointed captain Logan Wormald will enter his fifth and final year with the team providing the leadership that still lingers from a number of veterans who aged out of the league last season.

The Canes will meet the Calgary Hitmen for the first time since their seconds round matchup last playoffs, in which the Canes snuck by in seven intense games.

The Canes went one-and-four in the preseason, with their only win coming against Calgary in the latest game last Saturday.
