This year Lethbridge residents have been challenged to put their best yard forward and come up with unique designs for their front yards. The Helen Schuler Nature Centre launched the Front Yard Campaign back in March, inspiring residents to transform their outdoor spaces into areas that support biodiversity, reflect personal values, and bring neighbours together. Paige Rosner, Environmental Education Program Coordinator at the Nature Centre, explains why the focus was on the front yard instead of the backyard.
