HearingLife Canada held a grand opening Wednesday morning for their brand-new location in west Lethbridge. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held marking the official opening of the new space. A company spokesperson with HearingLife Canada says it’s exciting to finally have this location open to welcome residents from the city’s west side.
“Really beautiful clinic, and the services that we’ve offered so far since opening soft have been marvelous. I think people have really enjoyed the location. It’s close to home and the service that’s provided by the folks that work here. We have a number of clinics in the other side of Lethbridge. This is the first one in the west. So that’s the exciting part for us,” said Matthew Macinnis, Business Expansion Manager, HearingLife Canada.
Local resident Jim Jepson says having this new facility is great because it is important to have your hearing checked.
“It doesn’t just happen for older people, it’s people who are younger, especially those that are in working environments where there’s a lot of noise and that can affect their hearing. So I think it’s very important to have this facility here in west Lethbridge. A lot of folks, especially those that are a little bit older, maybe get a little nervous going across Whoop Drive or going over to Highway 3 to take the other bridge. So it’s really important to be able to just come here in the west side and for others who maybe just want to come to the west side,” said Jim Jepson, Resident of Lethbridge.
The facility had a soft opening back in February to residents and is located on Highlands Boulevard.
