With growth and expansion comes challenges. This is part of what the Holy Spirit Catholic School Division is experiencing. The board announced early this week that the division enrolled more than 5,500 students, which is 4.35 per cent increase compared to last year. Does the division have enough space to meet this need? The Division Board Chair, Dr. Carmen Mombourquette, explains what the biggest challenges are for his group. Mombourquette says with in influx of more Mexican immigrants in Picture Butte, they are also hiring Spanish speaking teachers.
