Goats are back in Lethbridge parks

The program which helps control invasive weeds in selected areas of the Lethbridge River Valley is entering its sixth grazing season. Jackie Cardinal, Parks Natural Resources Coordinator, says since 2019, over 750 hectares of noxious plants have been grazed. They use a lot of goats. Officials are asking residents to keep their dogs out of the grazing areas, and to not pet the herding dogs or goats while they are hard at work.
