Galt Museum showcases history of displaced Japanese Canadians

A new travelling exhibition has made its way to the Galt Museum and Archives in Lethbridge. It’s called Broken Promises and tells the story of Japanese Canadians who were displaced from their homes and sent to southern Alberta as animosity of the Japanese community grew during World War II. Video Journalist Micah Quinn chatted with staff from the Galt Museum about the over 5,000 Japanese Canadians who were forced to relocate to our province.
