After closing last November for a facelift, the Fritz Sick pool has re-opened. The pool was shut down so improvements could be made for accessibility and safety. The City of Lethbridge says the total cost of these improvements was just over a million dollars. The General Manager with Canadian Recreation Excellence, Lethbridge, Sunni Belle, explains what kind of renovations were made to the facility.
The Fritz Sick Pool has been in operation for 75 years. It opened in April 1950 as an outdoor pool and was later enclosed in 1965.
