Flight simulator session to take place this weekend

The CFI Flight Academy in Claresholm is taking flight this weekend. The academy is inviting locals to check out a free flight simulator training session. The owner of the academy says that it was a long process to test out and build the simulator.

The event will take place at the Airport Terminal Building in Claresholm on Saturday and Sunday (March 20 and 21) from 8am to 3pm.

CFI Flight Academy recently completed construction of a new hangar at the Airport Terminal Building. This means that they will soon start pilot training for private, commercial, and multi-engine aircraft.

10 new students will be enrolled first year, which will increase to 60 by the third year.
