The Southern Alberta Medical Program (SAMP) held its inaugural day of classes at the University of Lethbridge. This marks a significant step in helping future health care professionals earn their medical degrees while staying in southern Alberta.
SAMP is a result of an innovative partnership between the University of Lethbridge and the University of Calgary’s Cumming School of Medicine, established with funding from the Government of Alberta.
