The final countdown to Whoop Up Days is on.
The largest annual festival in southern Alberta is back with some new and returning features and events to the Exhibition grounds and is ready to welcome thousands beginning Tuesday.
Among the selection of rides, food and drink specials, musical entertainment and the increasingly popular Pro Rodeo, visitors will be able to take in markets, Pow-wow’s, and agricultural showcases.
This year marks the 5th annual year for both the Lethbridge & District Pro Rodeo and the Siksikaisitapi Pow-Wow.
Early-bird tickets are still available, plus they’ll be free admission during select hours at the first few days of the festival. It all gets started with the annual parade on Tuesday the 19th beginning at 9am and continues every day until Saturday the 23rd.
