Festival Square in final stages of construction

It may not look like a lot right now, but festival square is under construction. The square is being constructed near the intersection of 3rd Avenue and 6th Street South. The square is part of a larger project that will see 3rd Avenue improved from 4th Street to 8th street. The square will look to bring all sorts of markets and artisans to the area. The project will cost $1.71 million dollars and is being funded by the Alberta Government’s Municipal Stimulus Program.
