As Ag Expo continues this week at Lethbridge’s Trade and Convention Centre, a separate event was held on Wednesday aimed at boosting young farmers to help them thrive on their fields.
The Young Farmers Summit hosted by Farm Credit Canada was a day for the next generation of farmers, food manufacturers and retailers to hear real-world advice and to network with other professionals and peers. The summit, part of a series of free cross-country events by FCC, is tailored for people under the age of 40 who are pursuing a career in agriculture or transitioning within the industry.
