This is Emergency Preparedness Week across Canada. The City and Lethbridge County are reminding residents of the importance of being prepared for emergencies before, during, and after they happen. This year’s theme is “In It Together,” which highlights the important role the community connections play in emergency preparedness.
In this region, the West is particularly susceptible to wildfires, but it is also important to be ready for other types of disruptions that can affect any community, such as floods, severe weather, and power outages.
