The Canadian Union of Postal Workers says it has returned to the bargaining table with Canada Post. Amid uncertainty about a potential labor disruption later this spring, CUPW says it’s working to secure new collective agreements for its bargaining units.
55-thousand Postal workers went on strike back on November 15, 2024. The Federal Government ordered them back to work on December 17th. The two sides have until May 22nd to reach a new agreement. If they are unable to, workers could be back on strike soon after.
