Today, Communities in Bloom judges visited the Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden, as the site proudly takes part in the 31st edition of the national Communities in Bloom program. This year, the Garden is being evaluated in the National Special Attractions category, which highlights outstanding natural and cultural sites across Canada. The evaluation is based on a one to five-bloom scale, and depending on the total score, the site may also receive a bronze, silver, or gold level distinction within that rating. Eric Granson, Marketing and Sales Manager at Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden, shares more about what this recognition means for the Garden and the Lethbridge community.
The National and International results will be announced in Stratford, Ontario Canada from October 16th to 18th 2025, during the National Symposium and Awards Ceremonies.
