Coalhurst and County announce planning and development partnership

A new partnership has been announced in southern Alberta. The Town of Coalhurst and Lethbridge County are joining forces to create a shared service model for land use planning and development. Tory Campbell, Reeve with Lethbridge County says the partnership will launch in January 2027 providing a central point of service for planning and development matters in both Coalhurst and Lethbridge County.  

All in-progress planning and development applications will be transitioned to Lethbridge County Regional Planning and Development on January 1, 2027.
