Coaldale-Picture Butte and Taber RCMP warn of paving scam

Although pavement scams are not new and are well-known across Canada, it continues to occur. That’s why Coaldale-Picture Butte and Taber RCMP are warning property owners about fake contractor. Sgt. Mike Numan, with the Coaldale-Picture Butte RCMP Detachment, says those asphalt-paving services offer discounts to residents because they have leftover materials from previous jobs.

If you know, suspect a paving-contractor scam, please contact your local RCMP detachment at 310-RCMP (7267).
