Cinco de Mayo in Southern Alberta

Cinco de Mayo, or the fifth of May, is a holiday that celebrates the date of the Mexican army’s victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War.  So, what does the holiday mean to those residing in Southern Alberta? The owner of Salsas, a local Mexican diner, which celebrated its grand opening has that answer.
