Christmas Kettle campaign looking to raise $150,000

‘Tis the season again for the Christmas Kettle campaign. The annual fundraiser has been running for well over 100 years and the Salvation Army has championed the cause for many years. This year, you can donate by placing money in the kettle or by using an electronic tap option. Donald Bladen, the Community Ministries Officer for the Salvation Army in Lethbridge, says the campaign is hoping to raise $150,000 this year, with donations going to a great cause.

The Salvation Army will have kettles located around Lethbridge including Costco, Park Place Mall, Superstore, and the two Walmart locations.

The campaign will run until December 24th, and you can visit the organization’s website if you are interested in volunteering or donating.
