Students at Champion Taekwon-do got some kicks out of a recent charitable initiative. The annual Kick-A-Thon saw students collect pledges and raise funds to purchase toys for the Salvation Army’s Toys for Tots campaign. The students practiced for weeks to see how many kicks they could complete within a minute. The co-owner at Champion Taekwon-do says, this year’s event was a HUGE success.
Members of the Salvation Army were also at the Kick-A-Thon and said this is the largest community-initiated fundraiser the group sees during the Christmas season.
