Ceremony marks 80th Anniversary of D-Day at Lethbridge Cenotaph

This is the 80th anniversary of D-Day or the Battle of Normandy. A day in 1944 which featured an invasion of allied forces and became the largest seaborne attack in history. It was a day that helped turn the tide of the Second World War. A special ceremony was held at the Cenotaph by Lethbridge City Hall in honour of the veterans who participated in D-Day.
