Professional basketball will be returning to Lethbridge for one night this summer.

The Canadian Elite Basketball League will host their third ever neutral site game in their eight-year history, as the Calgary Surge and the Montreal Alliance will play a regular season matchup on June 20th at the VisitLethbridge.com Arena.

In an announcement on Thursday, the Surge announced another neutral site game to be played in Red Deer on May 31st, as well as a game at the Scotiabank Saddledome during the Stampede on July 9th. Surge representatives say the decision to expand neutral site games throughout Alberta is a testament to the games continued growth in the province.

Tickets are on sale at https://www.calgarysurge.ca/surge-2-lethbridge, and tipoff is on June 20th at 5PM. The Calgary Surge regular season begins on May 12.
