Cardiac Science Gala will be held in Lethbridge

A Cardiac Science Gala will be held in Lethbridge this Saturday. The goal of the event is to raise awareness of the fact that heart disease is the leading cause of death in the South Zone. Dr. Sayeh Zielke, who is the Chair of the South Zone Cardiac Sciences Advisory Cabinet, says the mortality rate from cardiac problems is 26.6 per cent in the South Zone, compared to the rest of the province. The gala will take place at the Lethbridge & District Exhibition on Saturday, February the 1^st.
