Candidate hopes to bring youthful and first-hand perspective to Lethbridge City Council

One of the youngest people running for a seat on Lethbridge City Council is 20-year-old Bernard Mbonihankuye.  He says he is running because during his troubled past, his life on the streets brought him face to face with Lethbridge’s social issues, and he wants to bring a firsthand perspective on city council.

Naveen came to Lethbridge in 2018 with experience in broadcast spanning over 20 years. In Winnipeg, he produced two factual entertainment shows for Shaw and Bell MTS prior to his move to Southern Alberta where he quickly ventured out into the world of journalism at Bridge City News.
