You will see some new faces on the ice at tonight’s Lethbridge Hurricanes game as they face off against the Spokane Chiefs on Tuesday evening. The Canes made three trades on Monday, swapping several players, prospects and draft picks. The Canes acquired Sean Tschigerl from the Calgary Hitmen in exchange for a second and a third-round pick in the 2025 prospects draft. In the second trade they sent forward Blake Swetlikoff to the Kamloops Blazers for forward Dylan Sydor. And in yet another trade, they acquired forward Colton Langkow, and unsigned prospect Kai Anderson, a 2024 second-round draft pick and a 2025 fifth-round draft pick from the Vancouver Giants. Heading the other way will be Cane’s forward Tyson Zimmer.
After taking on the Chiefs at the Enmax Centre the club will wrap up their four-game homestand when they host the Medicine Hat Tigers on Friday.
