Alberta’s government allocated over $7.4 million for agricultural societies
More than $7.4 million is the one-time injection the Government of Alberta has allocated to support the province’s regional agricultural societies. Alberta has more agricultural societies than any other province with 292 organizations. Alberta Government said, this is on top of the continued annual total funding of $2.8 million for regional agricultural societies through the Agricultural Societies Grant Program.
