Alberta’s government allocated over $7.4 million for agricultural societies

More than $7.4 million is the one-time injection the Government of Alberta has allocated to support the province’s regional agricultural societies. Alberta has more agricultural societies than any other province with 292 organizations. RJ Sigurdson, Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation said, “This funding will ensure our regional agriculture societies are able to keep up their good work and continue to be pillars of their communities.” For his part, Kim Gallucci, the Acting CEO with Lethbridge & District Exhibition explains what it represents for the city

Alberta Government said, this is on top of the continued annual total funding of $2.8 million for regional agricultural societies through the Agricultural Societies Grant Program.

Heidi was born in Bogota, Colombia and lived there until she was 18, then she moved to Caracas, Venezuela where she finished her bachelor's degree in journalism.
