A new attendance record was set during the Whoop-Up Days
A new attendance record was set at the Lethbridge and District Pro Rodeo, during the Whoop-Up Days. More than six thousand people took in the roping and riding. Kim Gallucci, Acting CEO with Lethbridge & District Exhibition, says overall Whoop Up Days was quite successful with more than 40-thousand attendees as the festival returned to paid entry following free entry last year. Gallucci says Whoop-Up Days will return next year from Aug. 19 to 23. The pro rodeo, meanwhile, will run from Aug. 21 to 23.
