Streets Alive Mission, in the middle of its Coming Home Campaign, is excited about the progress of a new permanent Mission Services location.

The facility adjacent to the nearby Lethbridge Soup Kitchen and Shelter will be able to expand the organization’s services, aimed at assisting residents living on the streets in Lethbridge.

The new facility, nearing completion, will be able to expand their services which include a wash and barber centre, clothing bank, and the space for their separate furniture donation centre to move in. But the owners and operators, the Kissick family, says they have more room to decide what to do next.

The new services facility is expected to start operations next spring, and the current location downtown is meant to remain there for administration.
