Remembering the heroes who never came-home on September-11

Every year, Lethbridge firefighters put on their uniforms to remember those who never made it home. Today’s memorial, held on the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks, brought together firefighters and other uniformed personnel from across the region.

The ceremony honours those who lost their lives serving others, while recognizing those who continue that work today. For the people taking part, it is a reminder that behind every uniform is a life, a family and a sacrifice.
