Local rally against changes from AISH to ADAP

A series of rallies aimed at speaking out about recent measures by the provincial government continues. On Friday, the focus was on recent changes to AISH (or Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped), as the government introduces its ADAP (or Alberta Disability Assistance Program). With the new measure, the program is shifting from a fixed income support model to a more conditional, needs-based system with different eligibility and benefit rules.
