Interfaith Food Bank to host National Garden Day
Interfaith Food Bank will host National Garden Day on Friday, June 13. Each year on Friday before Father’s Day, Canadians are encouraged to engage and learn about gardening. From 12:00 to 3:00 pm the community is invited for a free BBQ, Garden Tours and Kid’s crafts. Danielle McIntyre, Executive Director at Interfaith Food Bank Society of Lethbridge says Handmade goods will also be available for sale at our Helpful Hobbies Pop Up Market during the event.
The Interfaith Learning Garden was established to provide our community with opportunities to learn about enhancing food security by growing a garden, and to promote active and healthy lifestyles
