Tim Horton’s Smile Cookie Campaign begins Monday
The Tim Horton’s Smile Cookie Campaign kicks off this Monday, April 28th, the annual fundraising initiative supports more than 600 local charities, hospitals, and community groups across Canada. In southern Alberta, the municipalities of Coaldale and Taber have proposed a friendly competition to see who can sell more Smile Cookies. In Coaldale, 100 per cent of the campaign’s proceeds will go directly to Family and Community Support Services. Coaldale mayor, Jack Van Rijn, explains how many cookies they’re hoping to sell and what this represents.
Last year, Tim Hortons guests helped raise nearly 18.8 million, contributing to the Smile Cookie legacy of over $129 million raised since the campaign launched in 1996.
