City’s residential yard waste collection begins Tuesday

Yard waste collection season begins, and along with it, community should follow the instructions and hours for disposing of cut branches and leaves. The city’s residential yard waste sides will open this Tuesday, April 1. The West, South, and North depots will be open seven days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. James Nicholls, Waste & Environment, Collections Manager with the City of Lethbridge give recommendation in the matter. Nicholls also says the city’s yearly giveaway of free compost is going to happen this Saturday at the downtown Library from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
