80 year old woman dead after single vehicle crash Tuesday morning

An 80 year old woman from Lethbridge has died following a single vehicle accident early Tuesday morning between Lethbridge and Coaldale. RCMP say the crash occurred  around 6 am on Township Road 92 between Range Road 205 and Range Road 210. The female driver of the vehicle, who was the lone occupant, died at the scene. The police are not releasing her name. Weather is believed to have been a factor in the crash as the roads were quite icy . RCMP are asking drivers to avoid the area while they investigate the crash.
