The Shoes For Kids YQL Shoe Drive, the annual campaign supporting children and youth facing financial hardship across southern Alberta, officially launched its sixth year today. The initiative provides brand-new shoes to students in Lethbridge, southwest Alberta and neighbouring Indigenous communities.
The community is invited to support the campaign by donating new shoes or making a financial contribution during the annual shoe drive on August 15 at Murray Chevrolet from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Founded in 2021, Shoes For Kids is a non-profit organization that has provided thousands of pairs of new shoes to local children and youth.
